Agrees To A Series Of Joint Appearances To Feature All Three Candidates For PA-9
HOLLIDAYSBURG, PA -The Shuster for Congress campaign today announced that they have accepted a series of joint appearances with the other candidates running for Congress. While the details for each event still need to be worked out, Congressman Shuster said he was excited to talk about his conservative record and his fight to stand up for our values in Washington DC.
“From the beginning of this race, I have said that I relish the opportunity to stand on the stage and talk about my conservative record and vision,” Congressman Shuster said. “Now that both Travis Schooley and Art Halvorson have made the ballot, it’s time that we give the people of Central and Southwestern Pennsylvania the ability to measure all of the candidates.”
Congressman Shuster will participate in four different events with all three candidates including a joint editorial board, two candidate debates, and one forum in front of the Tea Party. These joint appearances represent the most comprehensive debate schedule in all of the Congressman’s races in the past.
“The people of the 9th District deserve a full vetting of all the candidates, including hearing about my proven conservative leadership in Washington,” Shuster said. “I’m looking forward to talking about my efforts to stop Obamacare, end the out of control spending, and create jobs right here in Central and Southwestern Pennsylvania.”
Congressman Shuster has accepted the following joint appearances:
- April 24th Indiana/Armstrong Patriots Event
- May 2nd Penn State Altoona Debate
- May 13th Herald Standard Editorial Board
- May 14th Wilson College Debate
